PRESENTATION AND ELABORATION OF WINE

The DOMAINE DU DEFFEND rosés are part of the AOP Côtes de Provence wines, the most extensive Provençal appellation. Its geographical area includes 85 municipalities in the departments of Var, Bouches-du-Rhône and Alpes-Maritimes, and covers approximately 20,000 hectares. Domaine Deffend Neuf is located in Trets, in a neighborhood where his name comes from. Created in 1977, it is a single family estate of 25 hectares. The first plots were planted in 1973 and the most recent in 2009-2010. About 40% of the vines are over 15 years old, and the remaining 60% are over 10 years old. The DOMAINE DU DEFFEND NEUF rosé is a product from the practice of organic farming. It is grown without the use of fertilizers or chemicals. This wine is subject to certification and control by an organization approved by the Ministry of Agriculture (ECOCERT).
