Truffle culture
The truffle is an underground mushroom, which is more precisely the result of fruiting mycelium. The symbiosis between the mycelium and the host tree allows this fruiting through mycorrhiza. Its shape can be more or less rounded depending on the soil where it develops (sand, clay, pebble …). It is found in the wild or spontaneous but also in plots planted with mycorrhizal trees (oak most often).
