This wine is a blend of Niellucciu grape variety, typical of the red wines of Corsica and Syrah. The grape variety blossoms on soils with clay soils in a reasoned culture.
Harvesting is done only at night to preserve the grapes from oxidation. The grapes are harvested at full maturity. The grapes are then macerated for two weeks with load shedding and pumping over before de-vatting. The juices are then put into malo-lactic fermentation and raised with micro-oxygenation.
This wine has a garnet red color, a nose that reveals aromas of plum, myrtle and cooked berries. The mouth is greedy, well balanced. The aroma of fresh grapes gives birth to a palate of long lasting flesh with very soft tannins. This wine will be particularly appreciated with grilled red meats, cold meats and Figatellu. Serving temperature: 14-16 degrees.
